The team of IMG positively surprised us with their systematic approach in identifying new business opportunities. We hadn’t considered it to be possible that external consultants could deliver such well-founded and fresh growth options. Dr. Peter Werth, |

As an international player in the production of high quality plastics, elastomer semi-finished products, CNC-lathes and seals, we are always looking for new business opportunities. Through the agency of “Kunststoff-Cluster Burgenland” we got the opportunity of getting to know the Competence-Mapping© method of IMG. We were surprised by the number and quality of the growth ideas that were generated in such a short time. We recommend Competence-Mapping© to all businesses that are open to a fresh look at business potential and expansion. Christina Glocknitzer, M.A., |

The glass-technology competence centre of the SWARCO group, an international traffic security company, is located in Amstetten, Lower Austria. Our R&D operations not only focus on the creation of innovative glass microspheres but emphasise the advancement and evolution of the manufacturing process. The cross-industry innovation concept of IMG provided valuable impulses for our non-traffic area. The internet platform BridgeUp! proves to be a simple tool to connect with interesting executives and potential project partners in the region. Bernhard Helmreich, |

We had the pleasure of participating in IMG’s Competence-Mapping© in fall 2013. For a small service company with two employees it is a challenge to find new business models and offer additional services. To develop and follow through with innovations requires time and commitment and is often neglected in day-to-day business. The Competence-Mapping© process under the guidance of DI Dr. Peritsch enabled us to identify competencies and innovation potential which proved to be very valuable and useful for our development. We have already been able to realise some of this potential while further projects are in the pipeline. We are grateful for the professional and creative support we received. Mag. (FH) Kerstin

“Rapid Product” is INDAT’s promise to its clients and partners. We speed up innovation projects by uniting all processes of Rapid Product Development, Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling and Rapid Manufacturing. As powerful innovation service provider we are always looking for new challenges. Using IMG’s cross-industry platform “BridgeUp!”, we were able to create many interesting contacts with competence partners, resulting in fascinating challenges. Chris Steiner, |

We are an innovative certified industrial company in the field of metal and electrical products. In the course of our strategy update we were supported by IMG in comparing our core competencies with future potential and visualizing the result transparently. The competence map is a great framework for all activities of our sales force. Targeted information and know-how exchange with the mechatronic cluster and other network partners leads to an increase in our competencies as well as being a great advantage regarding extending our product and service portfolio on new markets, home and abroad. The cooperation with industry and science network partners enables us to develop and manufacture products that a stand-alone company wouldn’t be able to create. These products fulfil our strategic mission of “creating our own product line” and “developing new manufacturing technologies”, especially as regards e-mobility. Ing. Gerhard Nachförg, MBA, |

As centre of excellence of tribology we constantly create application-specific knowledge in the field of friction, wear and lubricant research. A key challenge for a successful R&D organisation is the systematic communication and commercialisation of the product “knowledge”. IMG accompanied us very professionally in systematizing our business development activities and supported us in better capitalizing on our research competencies and results. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Andreas Pauschitz, |

Providing a strategic frame for the research activities of a university is today more important than ever. Dr. Peritsch is an experienced guide in the field of strategic development processes in research-driven environments with whom we regularly consult. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Viktoria Weber, |

FOTEC is a renowned R&D industry service provider that - as a subsidiary of the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt - benefits directly from the various competencies of the technical-scientific degree courses. It is important that our clients can realise quickly which contribution to solving their problems we can provide. The methods and tools of IMG are a professional aid in this regard. The cross-industry innovation platform BridgeUp! allowed us to set up many new alliances. DI (FH) Helmut

Early 2015 we started the Competence Mapping© initiative that brings fantastic added-value to all participating companies of diverse clusters like construction, lumber & technology, sports & winterTECH, civil protection & alpine security as well as food and health. With the support of IMG core competencies, business model and innovation potential analyses were created that now serve as an excellent groundwork for a growth agenda. We as the innovation agency of the Province of South Tyrol support companies in implementing the agenda effectively. IMG is our preferred partner in cross-industry innovation. Andreas Winkler, |

Following the mission of Steel & Engineering Cluster in Värmland - Smarter collaboration, stronger future - we offer high quality services to our clients that contribute to financial growth, new job opportunities and the establishment of new businesses. IMG´s competence mapping© approach suits well to our mission and goals. The training with IMG innovation experts was great fun and very efficient, so we were able to apply the method in our cluster rather quickly. Applying this methodology at our companies in the steel and engineering sector we gain very valuable insights to better market our cluster members´ competencies and we systematically stimulate new business development activities in the region. We strongly recommend competence mapping© as a highly practical cluster tool. Håkan Nilsson, Jeanette Löfberg,
